The one involving Chico Maria and Tomas. Where Maria takes off leaving after telling Chico that all men are all dogs. Chico chases her only to have the door shut in his face. Chico then howels back at her like a dog then turns toward Ed all sad and depressed because Maria left him. Ed feels his pain as he shows his sadness to him. Ed embraces Chico to comfort him. That is my most touching episode.

I can't decide if the most touching one for me is the champs ain't chumps one...becaise of Ed's obvious love and concern for Chico's safety and the way he talks to him in the office when he comes back instead of going to the fight...
or the spot in the bathtub episode where Chico says he thinks he wants to move out so ed won't be bothered with him...that and the padre episode are the only two episodes i see Chico cry or look like he is going to

The ones where Chico cries & the ones where he & Ed show emotion towards each other...

The most touching episode to me is the one where Chico meets his father. I feel like crying every time I see this episode. Chico (Freddie) doesn't look well and my heart goes out to him. When he speaks to his father I could really feel his pain.

My favorite funniest episode is Ms. Liz (of course) when Chico wants to marry Liz and Ed goes over to her apartment and eats dinner. I love this episode.

Thumbs up I agree with all the touching ones....

...and I can add more. First, the end of the one in which Chico is going to move back to NY to work in his cousin Carlos's car dealership. Second, the end of the episode with Marilyn, when she returns his ring. Third, the one with the nurse Lisa, when she and Chico are in Ed's office after her obnoxious patient had died. In all of these it was clear that Freddie was really in tears. Fourth, the one with the little blonde girl Morgan, in which Chico wanted to marry her mother Nancy--the scene on the couch when he says, "Come here to me." Ooooh sooo sweet hee hee!

As for funniest, that is much tougher. Some choices I could make would be the pilot, the strike episode, both the ones with Aunt Connie, the one in which Chico appears in Ed's dream dressed as Elvis...and on and on LOL!

For me, the most touching episode (it's a tough decision) was "Chico's Problem" when Chico's evening was ruined when the blonde nurse ran out on him cause she felt like she had to go back to work, then came in the next day to apologize. Chico was very upset with her at first, then just melted and held her in his arms as she tearfully explained why. Being a nurse, I can understand being torn between work and personal life--it's really hard to "turn off" when you leave at the end of the day!

The funniest (that's hard, too, there are so many!) has to be "The Hypnotist"--when Chico is telling Ed why he's such a chick magnet and how "gorgeous" he is (then laughing hysterically), then Ed raps him on the knuckles with a hammer, Ed getting hypnotised and flapping around the garage like a bird, and the ending, where Chico pretends to get hypnotised and grabs Ed's girlfriend, flings her into the back of his van with him and the van starts rocking!
