A poem.....

[Wild Child]

This is just a poem I wrote yesturday.I was REALLY bored.I wrote it as if I was a good friend of Jo's and I was remembering things of her...I don't know.Just read it and tell me what you think....please.

That girl I knew
So long ago
I remember now
Her name was Jo
*
She taught me things
I never knew
She always there
When I was blue
*
She was herself
When she was with me
But with all the others
She was who they wanted her to be
*
She did what they did
Some good;mostly bad
She didn't feel free
That's why she got so mad
*
The world we lived in
Was extremely rough
So even when she didn't feel it
She had to be and act tough
*
But then she got a scholorship
And the day she'd leave came
She rode off to the fancy girls school
I knew thing wouldn't be the same
*
I was mad that she had to go
But I'm happy for her now
She learned new things and made new friends
And managed to get through somehow
*
She stayed in Peeksville
And only visited here
But in my heart
She was always near
*
She got through college
And married a great guy
To say she was unhappy
Would be a big lie
*
She was a great friend to me
She helped me as I grew
I couldn't have made it without her
That's what I wish she knew
