Default Looking for a Episode. Edith's Phone scene with Maude

Does Edith have a phone scene with Maude in the last couple of seasons of All in the Family? Or Maybe this is a Maude Episode.

There was a great fan fic by Thomas E. with a conversation between the 2. It was set on the eve of Edith's death and Edith was telling Maude about how Archie has changed, gotten a Jewish business partner etc. Is that what your're remembering?

There was never no scene like that. I think you got lost in the Twitight Zone somewhere with all that spin-off talk you have been doing. See now your making spin-offs LOL

It wasn't a split screen. Edith was talking, then they showe Maude, then Edith, then Maude. I know I saw this.

I know it was After the Jeffersons moved up, Mike and Gloria had moved out and there was no more Frank or Irene, So it was probably between 1977-and 1979

Maude ended in 1978 so if this did happen it would have to be during the 77-78 season. I remember Edith mentioning Maude while telling one of her long winded stories and Archie replying with "Maude!" in one episode that year but I don't recall a phone conversation that late in the series (except for Thomas' fan fic).

So Edith did mention Maude in the 77-78 season?

Yes, Edith mentioned Maude while telling a story during the 77-78 season (I don't remember which episode) but there was no actual conversation with Maude at that time.
