I'd be very interested in lessons learned about this $179.00 hunk of junk I purchased to place between my vcr and computer. Supposedly, it makes transferring videos a breeze as its function is to convert the analog to digital. however, it isn't compatible with any dvd authoring software I own (Nero Ultra, Roxio, & ULead). You can only capture video onto the softer Moviemaker (I think it is called) and then it will render it all over again into an MPEG file. Then I import the MPEG file into NERO to do my editing and then - finally burn.
Anybody??have any tips?? I've been to dvdrhelp.com and there isn't much about this thing...I'm about to junk it and find something else. Too bad I threw away the box!!! |

I have a Dazzle 80 which I paid $50 for and I am very pleased with it. My only complaint is that it puts a little logo on the video. There could be a way to get rid of that, though. I don't know. I guess having to use their software and it taking mulitple steps/programs really doesn't bother me.
