Default Superbowl Halftime show

What are your thoughts on the Superbowl halftime show?

I am disappointed that Janet Jackson did not preform her new song, overal an adverage show.

There were rumors that Michael Jackson would make a surprise appearance, they were close, the Michael Jackson wannabe Justin Timberlake made an apperance.

I loved it. Still not my favorite, but Janet did Rhythm Nation and Justin did Rock Your Body.

Rythym Nation. Only good part.

Kid Rock? Why the hell was he even THERE?

I guess MTV won't be producing anymore halftime shows for the NFL, read this...

Quote:

Statement regarding the Super Bowl halftime show

Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

and this was the best part of the show...

Oh lip synching at its finest. That was crap. Who the hell wants to hear Diddy and Kid Rocks old ass songs.

Janet looks like a man.

It was alright, I guess. The only part I really enjoyed was watching Janet Jackson perform "Rhythm Nation."

Both Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake are upstagers. Plain and simple. Janet for wanting to gain the spotlight from her brother Michael and Justin for getting back at Brittany Spears for the Madonna-Brittany kiss at the MTV Awards. And I do think that it was planned because you just don't go out there and take off a piece of clothing and call it a blooper mistake.

I'm glad that CBS dropped their sponsorship with MTV. Maybe next year we will get something better and more wholesome than what happened last night.

The Patriots aren't the only winners last night, another winner is Beyonce, who did a great preformance of the national anthem without lipsyncing, and comes accross as being classy, compaired to the Halftime show.

Janet is quilty of stealing the spotlight, but not from her washup freak of a brother, from her new rival Beyonce.

And layoff of Janet, atleast she did not licker children up and have sex with them, like a certain someone.

Yeah, I would of understood if she actually performed, but she didn't. She didn't belong there at all.

But she stripped off a piece of clothing, revealing her boob, on national LIVE television. When kids were watching. Luckily, my 6 year old brother just thought there were clothes on that LOOKED like her boob.

I think that Beyonce did a wonderful job at singing the National Anthem. She's so amazing.

You created this thread asking for thoughts. You're getting them.

Some people, including myself, have some strong opinions on Jan & Justie's disgusting display. This is an open forum.

Yeah, I created this board and getting responds, which is what I want. When I start a post, like most of you, I rather half everyone disagree with my original point, than get no reply at all.

But you guys don't get, when I said "Lay off Janet", I was half joking, that was just a set up for my Michael Jackson joke.

Though I really don't see what the big deal is, it is the NFL's fault, you get what you paid for.
