Default Mike

I think sometimes he acts like a girl towards Archie, Edith and Gloria.

Anybody else agree?

And just what is meant by "acts like a girl." I don't understand this. Best be careful lest you offend some ladies on this board. Especially if you're going to drift into sexist comments about weaknes and strength. Women are equals, and we must respect that. It's 2004 not 1904.

I loudly disagree with that. Personally I think he can be a total jerk living under someone else's roof for free and being so disrespectful. Given Archie is no saint but the truth of the matter is that he is opening up his home for his daughter and husband to live in while he is in school.

I have no idea what you're "disagreeing" with. I was asking the OP to explain what he means by "acting like a girl." I was asking him to define that statement, and take care he wasn't offending women. I don't know what you're on about, but I haven't even *addressed the thread subject yet*!

I agree; Mike should have acted like a man and punched Archie right in the mouth.

That's ACTING LIKE A MAN?? To me that's acting like an arsehole! And...I am a man...age 51...5 kids. Mike hated violence anyway!

I didn't mean anything bad by it. Maybe I should put it a better way: acts like a baby?

Sorry if I upset anybody.

What does OP mean?

Archie would've kicked the Meathead's butt anyway.

OP means "Original Poster" the starter-upper of the thread.

Who? That fat old man? If Mike had wanted to, he could have put him through the floor. Come to think of it, Mike was the only one who never socked Archie. Edith slapped his fat face once, Gloria used to hit him on the head, Mike should have belted that fatheaded bigot just once. We know that Mike was not totally opposed to violence. He belted a man on the subway, he brought a baseball bat to hit Edith's rapist, and he threatened to hit Gloria's boss for firing her when she was pregnant. I would love to see a lost episode where Mike belts Archie for a racial insult. Oh well, there's always fan fiction.

I have never seen one person have such anger towards a sitcom character. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you really need some professional help.

P.S. you also need to take that smily face off of your avaitor.

Gloria also slapped Mike in the face during "The Battle of the month" and Mike acted like he was gonna cry. So, one punch from Archie would've put Meathead in the hospital.

Get real. Mike actually punched a character during the series' run. Who did Archie ever punch? He was all talk and hot air. Mike could have wiped up the floor with that old man and he should have the first time Archie called him an ethnic slur.
