OK, can somebody please tell me EXACTLY how to set it up so you have two VCR's hooked up at the same time? I have to make a copy of some stuff for somebody, and he told me how to do it, but I got lost after I got after the Video Out step...
In the back of the 1st VCR (the VCR you will pop in your original tape), there is a cable in the Video Out port that's running to the back of your TV. Take the Video Out cable out of your TV and plug that into the 2nd VCR....but which port? HELP! Quick! Thanks! |

From 1st VCR connect cable to video out. Then connect the cable to other VCR on the video in. If you want you could go with another cable from the 2nd VCR and run it to your TV.
Hope that helps. I tried to make it as simple as I could C-ya

Nevermind...I got the answer somewhere else...This is what happened when I tried to eject my blank tape from the old VCR I had set up. VERY fortunately, it had never been used. D'oh! Good way to start tape dubbing...

I'm glad you got help. I'm dense when it comes to electronics, so I completely understand. My husband laughs at me, but he doesn't know how to cook, so it's a fair exchange when he switches my stuff around for my current tape trade. I told my husband that if he ever died on me (perish the thought) that my tape trading would come to a complete halt. He tries to teach me but my brain goes fuzzy on this kind of stuff.
