Default Michelle Mistake

This really bothers me...Michelle's birthday is in November, so that means she was born at the end of 1986. So how come they have her attending kindergarten in 1991-1992. That meant that she would have been four for the first two or so months of school. Don't they have a cut off date for birthdays in California?

I asked that on www.full-house.org as well once (I'm Doug Fowler, those who may read my fan fiction, which is also up on other sites), and apparently the cut-off date is December 1, so it isn't common, but it isn't totally off the wall for her to have gone to Kindergarten at 4.5, though that bugged me, too. Stephanie, I could see; we know she was reading by age 4, and she always displyed quite a few talents; I went at 4.75 for the same reasons, my test scores and such were quite high all through, too, like hers I imagine. (My big spelling bee was 6th, though :-)

The books have her birthday in the summer, which is more logical.

My guess is with Michelle still being above-average intelligence, plus Becky having the babies soon meaning everyone would be busier, the decision was made to send her. Steph would be there to help after all.

Wow that cut off is really late! Thanks for informing me though. Stephanie was 5 when she started kindergarten though. She was born in January of 1982 (as well as Jodie) and she started kingergarten in 1987 which made her 5. But this also bothers me: I think the opening for season 5 is Michelle's party and the birth of Nicky and Alex...well why would they start a season in November? I know on TV it started in September, but that's just odd.

The cut off around here is like the beginning of October.

the cut off date in which you can enter school. If you are born to late in the year most states will make you enter the next year.
