Is it just me or does anyone else think season 3 is miles better than every other season? I mean, first of all, they have a very nostalgic and sitcommy feel to them and are still very realistic. It wasn't a borefest (seasons 1 and 2) and mixed humor and emotion perfectly. Plus, the characters were a lot better. Also, Roseanne's hairstyle is cool. She's like a fat Lucy.

The eight was the worst, the fifth and fourth was where the show reallty hit its stride.

I liked the 4th, 5th, and 6th season the best. I didn't like the first two and especially the last season.

To me the 4th season was the best, because it was probably the funniest and still had that charm that the show had in the beginning. From the 5th season on, the show was just funny and kind of lost the charm that made it stand out in the beginning. But I prefer humor to charm so that's why the 5th and 6th seasons rate really high with me.

Roseanne was overly sexist in season 5 and it annoyed me. 5 is still funny, but Roseanne was kind of off. Her divorce from Tom Arnold might have affected the writing.

Now that I look back, 4 might be better than 3, or at least just as good.

I do agree abotu season 5 and 6 not havign its charm. I think that's when the show really knew that ti was funny, which resulted in the loss of charm.

Season 8, the show felt it was really funny, but it wasn;t,
