I heard the Michael Jackson rumor, and I wouldn't be surprised since Janet is. Plus, it seems suspicious that out of nowhere, R. Kelly got a court ordered restriction from performing with MJ.

Now see, I heard on the radio that Janet and Michael made a deal that he would not show up @ the SuperBowl, because she didnt want him to. Evidently, he wanted her to come and support him at court and stuff, so he said no.. so before he hung up on the phone with her, he was like: Ok.. see you at the Superbowl! So I guess now shes gonna support him or whatever so he doesnt show up.

Personal, I think Michael Jackson is trying to steal the spotlight from Janet. I think this was Michael's idea. Janet is a person that is a good sport and I am sure she is ok with it. But I wouldn't be.

If I was her, I would tell Michael "I love you brother. But this is my moment. You got your chance 12 years ago to preform at the Superbowl. Get off it and for once let me have this moment, you selfish ego maniac."

I wouldn't be surprised that the moment J Lo heard the Michael Jackson rumor, she was pissed, because she wanted to make the surprise appearance and be the center of attention. No doubt she is demanding that MJ does not show up and upstage her.

The situation that Michael is in, he shouldn't be performing nowhere cause i would be thinkin about prison cause it's a good chance he might be going to prison. I can't believe his immature ass had the nerve to invite people to his house for a party a couple of weeks ago after his first court appearance. I wouldn't be partying at a time like this if i was in his situation. I also heard that Beyonce is pissed cause Janet Jackson will be performing at the super bowl & Beyonce doesn't wanna share the spotlight with Janet. Entertainers at times make me sick cause they think they should have all the shine & everybody should be lookin at them instead of somebody else. Beyonce needs to grow up. I also heard that Beyonce is supposed to appear on the cover of black magazine Essence with Janet Jackson & another celebrity black singer but she doesn't wanna take a picture with Janet.

Beyonce is preforming the National Anthem. If I am Beyonce I take this as an opportunity to outsine everybody with good old fashion singing. The Halftime show is always just a glick show with fireworks, while the National Anthem the preformer has to do it on shere talent without the pyertechnicks. In other words Britney Spears could do a halftime show, but not the national anthem.

These young preformers want the spotlight handed to them, earn it.

I doubt the NFL will let Michael near the halftime show, there is a better chance of the real MJ (Jordan) being involved in the show than that albinoed stick.

I am sure the NFL does not want Michael Jackson to appear at the Halftime show. But I do not know if the NFL has any control over this. The Halftime show is produced by MTV.

MTV and CBS are both owned by Viacom. I don't think it is wise for them to put Michael Jackson on stage if the NFL does not want them to, it might cost CBS their NFL rights when it is up for renewal.

Ugh, I'm starting to have some serious issue with J Lo. She really isn't that talented...and ya know...ugh...I just don't like her. And the Superbowl is supposed to be like some big thing...she isn't talented enough to get on it IMO.

Michael Jackson...well I don't follow any of that Janet/Michael stuff but I think Janet should get the spotlight. Besides...if Michael's on the Superbowl...think of all the kids that are gonna be watching that!!! They'll need like a VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED ad before it.

I doubt MJ will do it.

J. Lo -- doesn't the Super Bowl require LIVE singing? "Live singing" is an oxymoron to J. Lo, as she does neither

Yeah I heard about something like that. I didnt know what magazine it was, I guess it was Essence magazine... Beyonce did not want to take the picture because she wanted to be in the middle and Janet was scheduled to be in the middle or whatever.

I wish Jen would perform, but I dont think that will happen.

Gwen Stefani, Shania Twain, and Britney Spears have all lip-synched during the Super Bowl halftime show.
