When I first heard that they were adding David Spade to the cast, i didnt like it but now , i think that he fits in well with the cast..what do you guys think????

I agree. Except, I had a feeling this crew would make it work the whole time.

Despite lasting 8 season's, scoring high ratings, and many awards, as well as producing two spin-offs, critics used to say 'Three's Company' was just mindless dribble, and the only bright spot in it was the comical talents of John Ritter.

'Just Shoot Me' lasted seven years, had high ratings and multiple award nominations, but the critics said this show was worthless, except for the comical talent of David Spade.

This crew may have been able to 'make it work' for now, but how long until they're leaning on Spade's comical attributes?

it doesnt seem like it's going to be like that...what the critics say is their opinion to me most critics are stiffs and most dont favor comedies..so you cant always rely on those comments

i think his role is good and everything, but i have a feeling they might have to rely on spade's starpower, which isn't gonna be too good! but hey, 8 simple rules still has good ratings, so i'm sure they can make it work!

You're right, what critics say is their opinion, and if the ratings are high it doesn't matter. But critics can also have a lot of influence over viewers, and producers. I do hope everythings works out for this show, I still find it entertaining, but hopefully it will have some breakout stars and not rely completely on Spade.
