Any CRIME STORY fans out there? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone remember that cop show that was on for only two seasons in the 1980's - CRIME STORY? I recently discovered this fine program on DVD and it is really good. I'm surprised I've never seen it in reruns. It's executive produced by Michael Mann who, of course, is the genius behind Miami Vice. It takes place in early 1960's Chicago and then Las Vegas, and stars Dennis Farina (who, incidently, was a real Chicago cop). Anyone who is a fan of Farina, Mann, Miami Vice, or crime shows in general should buy this show's first season DVD and give it the recognition it deserves!

The series aired regularly on A&E several years ago. I never watched it but I knew it was on DVD.

I used to watch Crime Story on NBC in the early 80's when i was a kid. It was a good show. What other well known actors played on Crime Stories besides Dennis Farina? I haven't seen it in so long.

Crime story was a great show. USA network also showed reruns of it in the early 1990's.

Also it had Bill(Once & Again) Campbell as one of the cops!! The show also aired on A&E.

I hated the 2nd season, but the 1st season is fantastic. Dennis Farina is all bad-ass, but Anthony John Denison is sort of a pretty boy type.
