I like Samantha she's my favorite character. I caught the episode "Out of the flying Pan". I felt bad for Samantha. I didn't get the catch when Sam found out about the cancer, but I hope I will soon, because I really want to see them. Does anyone where the info was where they said that Samantha would die from the cancer? I'd apperciate it if someone could tell me where they found the information at.

Samantha rocks. As discussed in another Sam thread i think she should have her own spin off show. Her character is strong enough to hold it

I read these two stories today:
SEX AT THE MOVIES Here's some good news for Sex and the City fans dreading Sunday's series finale: Carrie and Co. are already plotting their comeback. According to Variety, HBO is in the process of making deals with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall to reprise their signature roles on the big screen. Exec producer Michael Patrick King is currently at work on a script. IT'S OVER! THE LAST DAY OF SEX AND THE CITY When Sarah Jessica Parker and HBO decided back in January 2003 to pull the plug on Sex and the City after six seasons, it seemed so far away. But now the end is sneaking up: The girls wrapped shooting on Feb. 4, and the last episode airs on Feb. 22. Of course, that leads to the Big question: Will Chris Noth come back to woo Carrie away? Or will she end up with Mikhail Baryshnikov's Aleksandr? HAPPY ENDINGS Star first reported that the producers are so concerned with keeping the finale hush-hush that they shot three different endings, all of which involve Carrie and the gals chatting in a coffee shop. Which will they pick? "I don't want to know," Parker admitted recently. This much is for sure: One scene took place on Feb. 3 at Manhattan night spot Capitale, where they taped a "Cure with Couture" fund-raiser, at which Kim Cattrall's cancer-stricken Samantha rips off her wig to reveal her bald head. After that, the women in the crowd yank their own wigs off in solidarity. Star previously reported that Samantha not only beats cancer, but that she walks down the aisle -- with a groom who remains nameless. Here's a hint: In one of the last episodes, Samantha refuses to have sex with boyfriend Smith Jerrod (Jason Lewis) in a NYC salon. After Smith complains that they "don't have sex anymore," he goes to see a therapist, and eventually leaves NYC to shoot a movie. THE END OF AN ERA On Feb. 4, the last night of shooting, NYC was transformed into the romantic streets of Paris, complete with French lamp posts, street signs and a taxi. And who showed up? Mr. Big himself. "There were tears," says Willie Garson, who plays Carrie's gay pal, Stanford. "It's been a great ride for us all, and it's hard to let go. We all love each other." |
