I'm glad to see Amy Davidson's character being more developed on the show. The writers and producers are obviously getting more confident in her acting abilities, which is nice to see. They've done a great job writing Kaley Cuoco's character, now I'm interested to see where they'll go with Davidson.
I don't think they're doing well with Martin Spanjers though. Last year his one-liner's used to get some of the biggest laughs, but since 'Get Real' he's lucky if he gets one at all. He still gets some funny lines, but they could do so much better. They are also doing horrible with Billy Aaron Brown. He started as a hormone-raging, dumb jock, but since the post-Ritter episodes he's suddenly become a wise, caring, sensitive boyfriend. That doesn't work for the show's continuity. If this show doesn't work, it won't be for the lack of talent in the cast, it will be from the writer's lack of creativity. Atleast that's how I feel. |
