Here's a uniquely puzzling question for you experts: DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT REDD FOXX LIVING IN AN ORPHANAGE AT ANY POINT DURING HIS CHILDHOOD? I'm asking because my uncle was sent to an orphanage, & I think it was the same one where Redd Foxx allegedly lived for a while. My uncle was there at a different time, though. A while ago a show aired about his life (possibly the Biography channel did a special on Redd Foxx)--I missed the show, but my cousin saw it. On this show, an orphanage where Redd Foxx lived was shown. They mentioned the name, too. I'm desperately seeking the name & location of this orphanage. Do any of you know the name of the orphanage & its location? I hope to hear from you soon, & thanks again for any suggestions, clues, or answers!
