Default Did Roper or Furley ever find out that Jack wasn't gay?

Here's something I was wondering about. I once saw a website where it said "Neither Roper or Furley ever found out that Jack wasn't gay." However, I've seen other sites that contradict that information.

The TVtome website said that Mr. Roper did find out that Jack wasn't gay when he left the apartment, but in "The Ropers," he still made jokes about Jack being gay. What's the deal with that?

Also, I've read information about a later episode where Jack and Furley were stuck in a meat freezer and Jack tells him that he isn't gay. Since that episode is close to the series end, do they just leave it like that since that's pretty close to the end of the series or does he un-tell him somehow? Anybody have any information on this?

I do believe that when both Furley and Jack were in the freezer, Jack did tell RF that he wasn't gay, but when they were let out of the freezer, RF just thought that Jack was losing his mind when he was in the freezer and that he really was gay.

On the last episode Jack told Furley he was moving in with a girl and that he cured him but Furley never found out that Jack was lying to him the whole time.

Okay, I see. Reading that info makes me realize what an idiot Mr. Furley was. Lol. You'd think by the time of the meat freezer incident and Jack moving in with a girl he would have found out. About Mr. Roper, somebody wrote at the TV tome wesite that he did find out that Jack wasn't gay when he moved. I guess whoever wrote that was probably mistaken.

Anyway, thanks again for all your input.

No, he didn't. I remember Jack was relieved in a way that Roper was moving -- the new landlord wouldn't know he was gay! However, Roper informed him that he had told the new landlord that Jack was gay. So, Jack never told him that he wasn't gay.

Jack told Mr. Roper that he wasn't gay in episode 10, Strange Bedfellows. Mr. Roper was so nervous that people would talk about him for sleeping with a "gay man' and that people might think he was gay too, so to make Mr. Roper feel better, Jack told him he wasn't gay. Mr. Roper didn't believe him, though, because at the end Mr. Roper said that Jack only told him that so that he'd calm down, but that he really was still gay.
