Default Clifford's Really Big Movie coming to theaters Feb 20, 2004 -- starring John Ritter!

This movie was worked on during the early part of 2003, towards April and May, starring the voice of the late John Ritter with special guest voices John Goodman, Wayne Brady and more! Details:

CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE, ANIMATED FEATURE BASED ON CLASSIC CHILDREN'S BOOK, TO BE RELEASED ON FEBRUARY 20, 2004
John Ritter, Wayne Brady, Judge Reinhold, Wilmer Valderrama and John Goodman Voice Featured Roles

New York, January 26, 2004 -Scholastic Entertainment's CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE, based on the best-selling classic children's book series, will be released on February 20, 2004 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE will take children and their families on Clifford's biggest adventure yet, a rollicking cross-country road trip starring everyone's favorite Big Red Dog and his best friends, Cleo and T-bone, along with an entirely new cast of characters.

Robert Ramirez directs and Deborah Forte produces the animated film, which is a Scholastic Entertainment production. The cast includes the late John Ritter (Three's Company; 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter) as the voice of Clifford, plus Wayne Brady (The Wayne Brady Show; Whose Line Is It Anyway), Grey Delisle (What's New Scooby-Doo), Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg), John Goodman (Roseanne, Monsters, Inc.), Jess Harnell (Lilo and Stitch, Scooby Doo), Kel Mitchell (Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, Kenan & Kel), Judge Reinhold (The Santa Clause 2,
Beverly Hills Cop III), Kath Soucie (Rugrats Go Wild), Cree Summer (A Different World), and Wilmer Valderrama (That 70's Show). The screenplay is by Rhett Reese (Monsters, Inc.) and Robert Ramirez (Joseph: King of Dreams).

"We are thrilled to be bringing Clifford to the big screen where he
belongs. All of his many fans around the world can now see him life-size in movie theatres. We're also delighted that in addition to being a star of the big screen, Clifford has been responsible for encouraging a love of reading," says Forte. "Over a million books have been donated through Scholastic's Clifford Cares initiative, a partnership with City Cares, a volunteer organization that provides underserved children with books."

Written 40 years ago by Norman Bridwell, and now with 100 million books sold, Clifford is one of publishing's all time best-selling book properties. Since that time, Clifford has become a kids' icon and a premier global franchise, now centered around an award-winning hit TV show that is seen in more than 60 countries and has been #1 with kids 2-5 and moms in the U.S. for over three years.*

Nominated for 14 Emmy Awards (Including multiple nominations for Lead Actor John Ritter), the Clifford The Big Red Dog TV series has been critically acclaimed and widely honored since its launch on PBS KIDS in September 2000. Awards include numerous Parents' Choice, Cine Golden Eagles, a Humanitas Prize, and a finalist selection in the prestigious international Prix Jeunesse competition among many others.

Forte, who formed Scholastic Entertainment in 1997, created and
produced the Clifford The Big Red Dog television series, among other top-rated children's series, and the feature films, The Baby-sitters Club, Indian and the Cupboard, Tuck Everlasting and The Mighty.

With a best-selling line of home videos, CD-ROMS, toys, games, and other kid-favorite merchandise, Clifford is firmly established as one of the most beloved and successful kids' brands of all time.
