I think that sitcoms are the best form of TV.

As for worst.... dramas.

News.... blah.

Some variety is good (especially SNL)
and I love Late Night (especially Conan O'Brien and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn)

But overall.... I watch sitcoms the most.

Default Best?

I don't know about best. It depends on if it's a good sitcom. The WORST are "reality shows". Usually dramas are good.

Sitcoms and Dramas are both very good, but when a drama is at it's best point, I am more interested in it, than I would be with a sitcom at it's best point.

That being said, sitcoms have more of a re-watchability factor to them.

In my books, dramas are okay to a point. Shows like Perry Mason, or Matlock, I've seen at times, and well-written. In fact, with dramas, we can all relate to them. Recently, I did pick up the first season of Lost In Space, and surprisingly enjoyed it. Next, with game shows, I find them interesting at times. Especially, since my friend, Paolo (JD2365) collects a ton of game shows. However, I can't stand the reality shows. I mean, Fear Factor, and 'My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance.' I hate them. Anyway, back to my interests, whenever there's a baseball documentary on, I'm definitely there, as I have over 100 documentaries on my tapes on the game, and over 30 eps. of This Week In Baseball. Of course, when baseball is not taking the field, that's where I turn to sitcoms the most. In fact, for the last two years, I've taped eight full sitcom series, and bought three more on DVD's. (Honeymooners (Classic 39), Dick Van Dyke (Seasons 1 & 2), and Barney Miller (Season 1) And I still continue taping sitcoms today. In short, sitcoms are what I enjoy the most.

I like sitcoms over any other type of show. There are only a few non-sitcoms I like (Quantum Leap, Sliders, Life Goes On). I always like the audience reaction to certain jokes in a sitcom. That's why I hate laugh tracks, because then you're just getting annoying laughter when the people behind the show feel something is funny.

So to end, Sitcoms are the best.

That's for sure. May they all burn in hell.

Anyway, in terms of acting and good, solid storylines, dramas have it all over sitcoms. In many sitcoms, the plot is preposterous and the actors overact.

So I guess I find dramas the best, but I do like sitcoms. And I love game shows.

The old classic sitcoms I really like. I prefer todays dramas over todays sitcoms though. Reality shows are the worst.

If the Simpsons and King of the Hill are sitcoms, then yes. I also love Mama's Family, Roseanne and I am getting into Cheers.
