Games Bunkers PLay? Mike was Wild in this episode-LOL He was acting like a real looney. Flipping the Game Board upside down and running upstairs like little baby-LOL Mike just totally snapped out in that episode.

I'm glad there is an ep like this, showing that Mike does have faults that need to be brought out. It's made so easy to see Archie's faults; his bigotry and silly ideas about so many subjects. So Mike normally does have valid points when he argues with Archie, and Archie's oppositon doesn't carry much weight compared to people who are more fair-minded. So Mike can't handle it when it is shown that he's not perfect and he thinks he is above criticism. Maybe the hardest for him to deal with was the irony of his bragging about how "tolerant" he is while showing the exact opposite. He shows he is completely intolerant of every one in the group and magnifies this by claiming it is all their fault for beign critical of wonderful 'tolerant' him.
I have always liked this ep. |

Thanks for a great post - good question that I'm sure will spark much debate.
Well done, tdr!!! That was a truly inspired answer. I couldn't agree more, nor could I have said it better myself. Just saw this episode on TV Land, after my previous viewing maybe 6 years ago, and it has lost none of its spark. Another insightful, thought-provoking episode from the good folks at AITF. Not to diminish the more serious aspects of the episode, and the examination of Mike's character (or perhaps lack thereof -- tee hee hee), I have to say that my favorite aspect of the episode is the 'groovy' cards -- "Cop Out" and especially "With It" !!! Like wow , how "seventies" can ya get?!!? Hilarious!

Maybe a little bit of Archie rubbed off on Mike after all. You could picture Archie tossing the board game, if you got him to play in the first place.
