Default The last to shut the door in the last episode

On the last episode "Friends and Lovers" Part 2...who should have been the last to shut the door. In the episode, Terri shut the door, but who do you think should have? I would say Janet because she was there the longest.

I totally agree with you christmas, I think Janet should have closed the door because she was there the longest and she had to put up with more crap from jack. She was the original and i truly think that she deserved to close it. I think it was messed that the writers made terri do it, it wasn't right.

I chose Jack because, he actually was there the longest! It's to my understanding that John was in the first pilots, before Joyce.

Yeah, but in character wise. It wasn't Priscilla who closed the door, but Terri. You see what I'm saying?

I voted for Jack, because he was the star of the show and was (IMO) the most recognizable character from the show.

yeah technically jack was there the longest in the real world but in the writing, janet was there the longest because in the beginning it was her chrissy and eleanor, so in the show janet was first, but in reality jack was there first, and that's why janet should have been the last to close the door

thanks to those that see Christmas' and my point of view

No question in my mind. Jack should have been shown last. He was the show's star in my opinion.

Well, I almost think that Jack and Janet should have shut the door together. They both gave a lot to the show, even though Jack was the "star." John and Joyce stayed through the rough times together and should have ended the journey together.

Sounds like a pretty heavy door if they need three people to shut it. (Just kidding.)

Actually, I think Janet should have shut it with one last backward glance like Mary did on the last episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

I would say Janet because she's lived there the longest and had roommates come and go throughout the years: from Eleanor to Chrissy to Cindy and then the last with Jack and Terri.

Well, I just keep thinking, "Who was on the show the longest?" I think that if Chrissy was still on the show, I think that she shoulda closed the door cause she was the first character shown on the pilot of Threes Company. Janet comes out of her bedroom and Chrissy was on the couch and I think there is absolutely no fan that doesn't know where Jack was.
