Feb 8, 2004 is the 30th anniversaru of Good Times and just wondering do TV LAND plan on doing a tribute to Good Times like they did for Happy Days

In his post with the TV Land February schedule, the only special that day is the Box Set:

Sunday, February 8 -- "Big Bully"
3:00PM The Brady Bunch #33 "A Fistful of Reason"
3:30PM Dennis the Menace #5 "The Bully"
4:00PM Leave it to Beaver #17 "Lumpy Rutherford"
4:30PM The Monkees #20 "Monkees In The Ring"

If they were doing something, it would be in there

It's very disappointing that TV LAND celebrates the birth of Happy Days but not Good Times. That may be enough for me to never watch TV LAND again. All sitcoms in 1974 should have some type of tribute like Rhoda, Chico and the Man, and That's my Mama. Not just Happy Days.

TV Land does not have the rights to Good Times. A That's My Mama tribute? That's pushing it. TV One has the rights to Good Times. I'm not sure if they are planning anything yet though.

Happy Days is an all-time classic. So is Good Times, but does TV Land even air Good Times? But Rhoda never was out of MTM's shadow, and Chico And The Man is more famous to younger people as "it had Freddie Prinze Jr.'s dad in it", and That's My Mama??

Well i do remember TV LAND airing a episode of Good Times in August of 2002 as a part of Norman Lear's 80th Birthday Celebration.

It would be nice to just do something to air the short-lived sitcoms from 74.

Because they bought the episode for that night ONLY. For the Norman Lear tribute. Like I said before, it must have cost them a lot, since Good Times was licensed with TBS back then. Airing more than one episode that time would have cost them a fortune.
