Default How do you search eBay?

For those of you use eBay, how do you usually find items? Do you search just by titles or do you search by titles and descriptions? Or do you just browse certain categories?

Descriptions. Always descriptions. I can hardly ever find what I'm looking for if I were to look under categories.

I usually just type in a description unless I know the exact name of an item(movies, etc.) I usually find what I'm looking for.

95% of the time I type in someone's name or a TV show. Other times I search thru categories.

It depends. Like if I'm just checking up on stuff (ie: Trading Spaces) I'll just type in a generic term (like..."Trading Spaces"). But if I'm looking for something more specific, I'll type in exactly what I'm looking for.

I have certain catagories that I always jump straight to (CDs, books, DVDs, etc) and then I do a search with descriptions. Even if I'm not necessarily looking for anything specific, you can still do general searches under descriptions

People put things in WEIRD catagories, sometimes, so I never do that. I always just type in 'rockapella' or 'laverne' or 'metallic markers'... etc.

Hi buddy

I just search for what im looking for like this

"marked man VHS"

"boston - boston cassette"

I find I can find stuff easiest that way... 1 time I found a 1981 MCA VIDEOCASSETTE release of "AIRPORT" (1970) on a different site...... I still havent found one on ebay!!

Ebay seems to be the best of all of them

Thanx for asking us..... You mean alot to us Todd
