Default When watching the True Hollywood Story of your Favorite Sitcoms, do you prefer to

hear more about the show itself and the characters, or the biography of the actors?

I would prefer to hear about the show, and the exploration of the characters. I have no interest in how a actor/actress got started. Boring info if you ask me.

hmmm. it depends...I'd probably like to see more about the actors and their biographys. I also like hearing about "behind the scenes" turmoil lol

But i just feel the bio info takes away from the info about the show. Like take the Jeffersons for example, instead of hearing about how Sherman Hemsley got started in show biz, i would want to know where did that (walk) come from that Sherman did on the set. The famous STRUT.

I think they should do a little bit of both, but more on the actual show and behind the scenes stuff (the gossip, etc.). I think the stars should be profiled a little, like saying how they got the job, etc. things like that, but IMHO, the 'Stories' are more about the actors and their lives than the show, and it should be about the show. I mean, take E! True Hollywood Story: Redd Foxx. I personally KNOW about Redd Foxx (his biography, I mean) and would have much rather seen a Sanford and Son one. So, yeah, I do agree Solomon.

E! DID have a good thing going with TV Tales (Love Boat, Golden Girls, Night Court and I think a few others) were profiled and it was about the show, not the actors (mostly), but that up and disappeared, as did TVography on A&E. I don't get it... LOL. Two good shows focusing on TV Shows and they disappear.

I don't even watch THS no more. It's a waste of my time. TV Tales was a little better but not THS

I don't watch it anymore either. It's trash now, IMO. It always DID focus on the behind the scenes gossip, but sheesh, the 'Stories' are getting worse.

TV Tales weren't THAT great, but a little better at focusing on the shows than THS.

I think separate True Hollywood Stories should focus just on the actos and then have separate True Hollywood Stories on the show and it's characters.

Exactly, it still things I want to know about Three's Company.

I prefer when they cover things about the actual show. While some backstory about the actors and actresses is good, sometimes they spend way too much time talking about them. After all, people are tuning in to hear about the show, not one or two actors/actresses, IMO.

I don't mind it when they talk about their backgrounds but I'd much rather hear about the show / characters.

I like hearing mainly baout the show. I like it when they say like..."For the role of Jack Tripper, the producer sought after John Ritter. Ritter was a California native who minor stardom on "The Waltons."" I like it when they just mention what, if anything, the actor/actress was famous for before starting on the show being profiled.

The show and the characters mostly for me, although little snips about the actors are nice too.

I like both. Most of the time, for example on True Hollywood Story, if it's billed as say, Suzanne Somers, it's going to focus mainly on her life.
If the THS is called Three's Company, it will focus on the show.

I saw THS of THree's Company and it did not focus on the show. It's still a lot of things about three's company i don't know.

I watched the show twice, and I thought it was comprehensive.
What are your questions, if you don't mind telling me?
