Maybe Freddie/Chico will come to me in my dreams tonight. I'll keep you posted if he does.

I had a dream about him last nite. I was tying to keep Freddies name alive & so was everyone on here. It turned out he was alive after all & hadn't died. We all became friends with him & he was wearing either a black suit or tux & looked really hot. Then the dream switched to an episode of LEAVE IT TO BEAVER where Beaver finds a stray cat & wants to keep it. Then it switched back to Freddie & ended...

Default Dreams

What a wild dream Cheryl. I like the first bit about Freddie, and laughed when it turned to Beaver and the cat....too funny.
Unfortunately, Freddie never comes into my dreams, but if he every does, I will post it here first. He must be too busy visiting with the rest of you....LOL.

One of my earliest dreams about him was after I got into Freddie & CATM thru the TVLAND re-runs. (Liked CATM but never got into Freddie until the TVLAND re-runs. Go figure). He came to me in the dream telling me he was okay in heaven. Later in the day when I told my hubby about the dream I heard some knocking on our living room wall. Weird... I've had a number of dreams about him since then. I don't remember them all tho. I did dream a few CATM episodes tho...

Red face This is sooooo uncanny!

I have been trying for months to dream about Freddie again and NADA. I have wondered why he doesn't visit me in my dreams like he used to. I guess my mind has been filled with other concerns these days.

I have been thinking a lot about the fact that the 27th anniversary of his death is almost upon us and I have been writing a new story based on his character from The Million Dollar Rip-off (chapter 1 should be hitting Lounging with Louie in the next day or so) So maybe this combination of things, or the fact that in the wee hours of the morning marked the beginning of the vigil (SOB... Sorry) but he came to me last night in a most wonderful dream. I only just got up and had to come up to my Freddie room and share it all with you. It was soooo good I might have to go back to bed to try to recapture it, but I don't want to forget it, so I will get it down here first.

The dream started with me being a guest star on one of Bob Hope's Variety specials that were on in the 70's. Bob was still pretty young, but for some reason I was playing his granddaughter in one of the sketches. We were sitting on a couch in a livingroom set. It was a mansion setting, BTW and Bob was playing himself in the sketch. There was a sodapop machine in the living room for some reason, but it also carried things like wine coolers as well. Anyway at one point I remember Bob asking me to get one out of the machine, and I was surprised there was alcohol in there.... he made some sort of joke about that which got laughs from the audience... (I don't remember all the details.. you know how dreams are) Anyway he was talking about how he was off to play some golf with my "Uncle" Bing (As he put it). He was expecting his doctor to bring over some x-rays he just had taken and would I wait for them. I said sure and he left. Then there was a knock at the fake door on the house set and when I open the door, the guy there says, "Dr. Gomez here, where are the kidneys".... and it was Freddie playing the doctor. OMG I laughed so hard. I said "You must be the doctor with my grandfather's x-rays." And he turned to the audience, snapped his fingers and said, "I knew I forgot something." and the audience laughed. Then he turned to me and said "You must be Bob's granddaugher." And then he looks at me laviciously. I answered, "Yes" and he as he comes in the door he says, "How old are you, Mami?" and I answer 21. "Mmmm", he replys, "the age of consent." And I answer, looking at him laviciously, "And I consent!" and the audience laughs. Then we go over to the couch and make out. Then Bob makes a noise which spooks Freddie and I have to hide him... I think it was under the couch. Bob comes in and goes on making a few jokes about the golf game and Bing and then asks me if the doctor had come.... well in my dream I was getting away with a few more inuendos than we would have on the set of a show in the 1970's. I look at Bob and with a gleam in my eye and a big smile on my face answered, "Oh yes, he came!" Bob, trying to ignore the inuendo in the remark, asked, "Well did he leave the x-rays?" At this point Freddie emerges from his hiding place and said, "I left them out in the car, be right back." Bob looks at his retreating figure and then at my coy smile and shakes his head, and makes some joke about leaving his granddaughter to play doctor with Dr. Juan. Freddie comes back in with the x-rays and, holding them up, proclaims Bob as being healthy as a horse, to which I say off side, "More like an old goat and I wish he would kick the bucket," which gets more laughs from the audience. At this point I am sure there would have been more to the sketch, but I woke up.

I got the feeling, being that this dream was on the day we remember sitting and wondering if his act of dispair would really end his life, that he didn't want me to dwell on that fact, that he wanted me to remember the sexy comedy he was so good at, and the love he put into his work. It was a wonderful dream.... and I could feel his lips on mine when he kissed me in that one part of it.

Thanks Freddie, for reminding me that we should not mourn anymore, but rejoice in your gift of laughter.

I had a dream about Freddie last nite. In it when he committed suicide it wasn't on purpose but was an accident with the pills causing him to do it. He pulled the trigger to the gun & then stopped realizing he was messed up by the pills & didn't really want to kill himself. As he pulled the gun away, it accidently went off & killed him. Later I am writing here on the message boards explaining his suicide wasn't on purpose but was an accident . I came up with the idea of doing a fan fic based on that & mentioned it on the boards her & someone on here wrote a fan fic based on it. Then next I dreamed all sorts of weird stuff that was unrelated to Freddie. I don't even remember what that stuff was. Then later I dreamed again that when he committed suicide it wasn't on purpose but was an accident with the pills causing him to do it. I wonder if Freddie was trying to tell me that the pills made him do it. It was strange & appropriate timing this dream...

I had another dream last night, maybe I have had Suz's story on my mind or something, but it was similar, but different too....

I dreamed that I was engaged to Isaac Ruiz, but even tho I had feelings for him, I wasn't really wanting to marry him, I really didn't love him. I was a childhood friend of Freddie's and had a secret love for him, but I thought that is was unrequited, since we acted more like brother and sister for most of our lives. He was the ladies man and dated all these ladies, but was never serious about anyone. We would always talk about our problems together. Anyway, it was like the week before Isaac and I were to be married, and I realized what a mistake it was, and it wasn't fair to Isaac, cause I think he really loved me.... I felt I was "settling" on him because I couldn't have Freddie.
I finally got brave enough to go to Freddie and tell him, except I couldn't tell him who I was really in love with, only that my heart wasn't with Isaac.... that I cared for him, but I didn't love him, I loved another. Then Freddie weedled it out of me. I thought he would be mad or something, but it turns out that he always loved me too, but thought I didn't think of him more than my brother.
So we had to break the news to Isaac, but then I woke up.

Weird huh?
