A new project for Steven - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Tony has Monk and as Pavan announced, Amy has a show in development, too. Great news keeps pouring in...I just found out that Steven will star in The D.A., a mini-series on ABC, which will air this fall. It's not a regular show, but it's better than nothing, right?

That's great news. I think Steven Weber is very talented. I hope he achieves whatever he wants.
I'd love to see him on another sitcom. The guy just cracks me up.

Maybe....just MAYBE...Tony Shalhoub is paving the way for the OTHER "Wings" regulars to be considered as talented, marketable ACTORS and not just "people on that cute little sitcom about the airport".

Cast members like Tim Daly, Steven Weber and even Crystal Bernard can be hilariously funny....but when they get serious and act in a drama role or scene, they can give us a powerful performance that really packs a PUNCH!

I wish Tim would get cast in one of those really intense dramatic shows 'cause we all know he'll kick major ass. All the 'angry Joe' scenes on Wings are powerful. What's taking those damn Hollywood casting directors/producers so long?
