Default The Conners, A Realist Family

I've always liked the Conner family because they were really realistic. Most TV families are too phony.

I do think that the whole Conners winning the lottery thing took away from the realness though.

How could that not be real? Average blue-collar families win state and national lotteries every once in awhile. And it would be interesting TV to follow those lucky people.

Just a thought.

Yes, thats why they were a big hit, imo. Like the Cosby show and Brady bunch were all fake. No1 lives a perfect life like that! Roseanne did alot of things that some shows wouldn`t even dare try. Rock on, Rosie!

I agree that it could've been interesting to see that. The lottery concept was not a bad idea and it could have been interesting and still real...but it wasn't executed with any semblance of reality (Jackie with the prince, Roseambo, etc.).

Yeah, Jackie with the prince was little far fetched!
