Default What do you think about FOX?

Fox if you haven't noticed is a very different television station. Around the time FOX was being developed the very popular sitcoms were shows such as the Cosby Show. I heard on an E! true hollywood story that fox wanted to be different. They were sick of all the wholesome, "let's teach a lesson" shows. They wanted something crude, loud, and in your face. Therefore came the protege of FOX "Married..with Children" It was a family like no other. The only tv stations then were ABC, NBC, and CBS.
What do you guys think about Fox. Still today you can find the crude shows. Fox is clearly an in your face station. Does anybody like FOX here. I like a few shows (simpsons, malcolm, stuff like that)

what does this have to do with 8 simple rules? shouldn't you post this on the General Discussion board?

oh and the answer to your question.....I hate FOX, all they air are stupid sitcoms (except for the simpsons) and really really really bad reality shows.

I Hate FOX. They canceled all my favorite shows after short runs (Andy Richter Controls the Universe, The Tick, Ned & Stacey, Get a Life, Futurama, Family Guy) and keep the (in my opinion) crap like "Malcolm in the Middle" and those lousy reality shows. Although to be fair, FOX did have the reality shows before ABC, CBS, and NBC.

I always thought all those reality shows started because of Survivor, which was on CBS. or are you talking about something else?

I think a lot of FOX's shows are immature.. the only one i really like is American idol [lol obviously, for me]. I think the OC is okay though.

I was referring to "Cops", which began on FOX years ago. And FOX always had those reality specials like "When Dogs Attack" and stuff like that. But as for the competition reality shows which are the popular ones, then I guess you're right, "Survivor" was the series that started the craze.

Although Fox isnt my favorite network, they do have two shows i cant stop watching..one being american idol just cuz who knows why? i like it. But my favorite show besides 8 simple rules on ABC though is Fox's, "the OC." I've never missed an episode cuz its a really addicting great show that mixes comedy with the character Seth and it also has a lot of drama in it. The one thing that annoys me about Fox though is how they keep putting breaks in the show! ahh!! since the oc aired in august, there have been 4 different breaks (a month long for the world series, a week for the billboard awards, almost a month for the holiday season, and now 3 weeks for who knows why?) but i still love both of those shows on fox. if you havent watched them, especially the OC when it airs again on Feb. 11th i believe, you should check it out

well they have different sections for different discussions....Amy Davidson was in a few episodes of "So little time" so that dosen't mean I should just start posts about so little time here.

I hate Fox

And for the responce that this should be on the General discussion board the more you reply to this post the longer before it will be dropped down the list. And dont worry about it being posted here, there are other posts on here having to do with the actors and not the show
