Default "next stop, murder"

"was it good for you too?"

man, i hate a mystery. but for some reason, everybody has to use this idea for an episode.
agnes wins a contest for a murder train mystery with a famed writer. dave and maddie get stuck on the train and then invited to participate in the mystery.
the writer, jb harlin, is killed.
agnes begins to fall for the guy who ends up being the killer. best part of this, is when dave follows the killer on top of the train. he doesn't duck and meets a tunnel as he stands when he collides with it.

One of David's funniest quotes is in this episode when he says to Maddie, "Now let's back down there to episode 89 of Dynasty".
LOL I still crack up when he says that. Remember everyone was in one of the passengers compartments accusing each of murder.

I'm just noticing these older threads. This is not one of my faves of the early episodes, but the scene where Agnes hears Maddie and David in the bed is worth the whole thing.

Agnes: Do you want me to leave?

Agnes was kind of daffy but I get the feeling she saw the attraction between them right off the bat.

ok, this one had nothing about shakespeare, the three stooges, david and maddie, but don't worry, it did have david!
i love it when the rhyming receptionist needs a ride-
david:
say no more, maddie will be glad to take you
maddie:
addison, i have plans
david:
haven't you ever heard of midnight mass?

I liked this episode. Several of the lines in it made me laugh out loud (and still do to this day).

I always enjoyed that Allyce ended up marrying Vincent, and eventually had a child.

They are both unique - that's what made it such a great match.

Like Cybill said once about Roseanne - "we all come in different shapes and sizes". We should celebrate it. I happen to find Roseanne beautiful and a very gifted comedian. I never appreciated Roseanne's sitcom when it was on primetime, but now I watch it all the time. It was terrifically cast, and had wonderful writing.

Just watched this episode for the very first time in my live and I have to say that I liked it very much This might sound like bragging but I knew who murdered J.D.H. right from the start I guess I just have a great judge of people LOL Or, that guy is a very good actor hmmm

The part with the bed is fantastic, loved it! And that YIIIIIHHAAAA on top of the train!

Only one thing got me left wondering, why did Maddie smile at the end? Was that because Agnes was singing

btw, The Next Murder You Hear was also great! David singing in that bar WOOOW!!

Still a fan I am

Up to the next one! The Murder is in the Mail!

I guess I'm not doomed afterall.

Even though Miss Dipesto isn't 100%, she really is a dear, and this episode highlights her.

I enjoyed this episode, it wasn't great tv, but it was fun and entertaining tv. (Frankly better than most of what is on tv now--Lost, Desperate Housewives and Medium not included.)

I haven't really focused on David yet. The one I have been focusing on is Maddie.

In the first four episodes I saw her incredible chemistry with men--four really different men.
And in this episode I was able to see her different kind of chemistry with women.
The former mistress of the man that was found dead walked up to Maddie on the train, and talked with her--and it was so nice and genuine between the two. And latter, with a completely different kind of woman--Miss Dipesto, Maddie was really charming and gentle with her.

Maddie has this presence and I like her. This kind of quiet strength that is just there.

My favorite part was Maddie and David comming out of the bed in the wall.
