Default April 2003

This might have been mentioned before but I can't help but notice that a lot of people from the Wings message board registered in April 2003, right around the same time Wings started up on N@N. So far I've counted 8 people. I registered with SO in Apr. 2003 cause of Cheers. I never post on the Cheers board now but I still love the show. Did all of u who registered in Apr. 2003 register because of Wings or was it for a different reason.

April was when I officially became a "Wings-aholic"....I had never watched the series before it's NICK AT NITE run.

Once I became a "Wings" fan, I began searching the internet for "Wings"-related sites....I found this excellent message board and decided to "join the cast", and am I glad that I DID!

One more thing....I DID register on the Sitcoms Online site specifically because of "Wings". I occassionally post messages on other "Sitcoms Online" message boards, but not regularly. (When John Ritter passed away I posted quite a few messages on the "Three's Company" and "8 Simple Rules" boards, but that was about my heaviest non-Wings posting activity).

The "Wings" message board is my Sitcoms Online "home", and a great place to hang out!

I've always been a Wings fan, but yes -- when Wings started up on N@N, I started searching for fan sites and found this place. Good thing, because I was bursting to talk Wings with somebody!

Love,

Wing<><

I'm an old-timer here. I've been a member of SO since December 1, 2000.

me too me tooooo!!
lol. I started watching it randomly suring the marathon in March, but by April, I was hooked, and searched for Wings messageboards online, and found this one!
And the Wings board is the only one I chat on here at SO. last summer, I think I posted a few messages on a couple of other boards here, but I didn't really click with anyone on the other boards, and it wasn't as much fun. So I have only been posting here at the Wings board ever since.

I have been watching Wings since 1995. I only found this board recently. I was thrilled when Nick started advertising the Wings marathon last March. It had been so long since I got to watch the epiosdes. I made myself a checklist, and I am down to 19. Of course, a few of them they skipped on the first two rotations, hopefully they will show them this time around

from 1976-1995, I lived in Crystal's birthplace, Garland, Tx. My parents still live there, but I live about 20 miles away

Yes, I registered because of Wings starting to air on Nick at Nite. I went on their website to find out what times Wings was airing. Then I started going on their message board and that's where I met Snoopy(Kristen), and she told me about SO. Some of the people on the N@N boards were just plain mean, going on the Wings board and saying how much the show sucked. I think if you don't like a show, don't go on that board. You don't see me going on a board of a show I don't watch or like(and believe me, there are alot of those), and saying how much I think it sucks. That just made no sense to me. Like Pilotguy said, the Wingsboard is a great place to hang out, although I'd rather be hanging out at Tom Nevers Field!!

I'm one of the few, but PROUD that started watching Wings when it originally aired on NBC. I can still remember the premire episode like it was yesterday.

I stumbled across the marathon on Nick at Nite and watching the show reminded me of how much I enjoyed and missed the show. I went on line just to see if I could find some websites or information on Wings. At the time Peter May's awesome site didn't exist. And I stumbled across this site and figured I would give it a shot. The rest is history.
