Lowell mentioned to Norm and Cliff that his family lived on a boat. He mentioned a rash or something that one of the kids had.
Roy mentioned that the 'boy of his' put the refrigerator magnet on the back of his head....the steel plate episode. Did Lowell and Roy have children and did Lowell live on a boat? Also, I noticed Roz Doyle in the credits as producer....an obvious Frasier connection? |

I remember someone mentioning the Roz Doyle thing before. Both shows have the same writers, or something like that, so I bet it is a connection.
and yes, Lowell has kids... I know there's a Lowell Jr. and I think he has a couple more kids too... I picture Lowell with 3 kids, but I don't know if they ever said how many that he has. lol. and yes, Lowell lived on a boat. and Roy has a son named R.J. He's in one of the episodes that's coming up pretty soon. |

Yes, both Lowell and Roy had children. Although you never saw Lowell's kids. Roy's son, RJ, showed up for a few episodes. --Also, I noticed Roz Doyle in the credits as producer....an obvious Frasier connection? The creators of Wings (David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee) are the same guys that created Frasier. A lot of the same writers and directors that worked on Frasier, also worked on Wings. Not surprising to me because I think both of these shows are two of the best written and produced sit-coms ever. |

Thanks Krista! I sort of think of Cheers, Frasier and Wings as sister shows because of David Angell and of course, Frasier spinning off of Cheers.
There are probably many connections among the three shows, be it writers, producers, creators, directors, etc. |

That post came out of left field... |

Read the questions in my first post and you'll understand that, of course, I wasn't asking if Roy and Lowell had kids together. It appears that you asked that question though.... |

It was the left field comment which sort of threw me, and I'm used to a smilie or something to indicate when someone is kidding. I misunderstood, I guess.

The real Roz Doyle(the writer from Wings)died from cancer and I guess when the team of Angell/Casey/Lee decided to do Frasier, they created a character named Roz Doyle in her memory. I wonder if her real name was Rosalinda like on Frasier?
