Default the girl who played Courtney in "Hey 19"...

I was just watching this show called "Two and a half Men" (I guess it's new this year.. I've never watched it before), and there was this woman on the show who looked REALLY familiar, and I was trying to figure out what show I've seen her on before, and then I realized that she played Courtney in the "Hey 19" episode of Wings.

oh! and I once saw an episode of "Mad About You", with the guy who played Matt in the "The Puppetmaster" episode of Wings. He was wicked funny in that episode of "Mad About You".
And hey! I think he's on "Law And Order" now, or one of those shows, isn't he? I remember watching an episode of "Law And Order" a few weeks ago, and I think that was him that was in it. I think he's a regular on the show...

...that's how I know I watch too much Wings, when I notice guest stars that were in one episode in the entire series, when they're on other TV shows like, 10 years later. lol

and I don't know what the whole point of this post was. lol. I guess I just thought I'd share.

I got curious to see if they were in anything else that I've seen, so I looked up their filmography, and the guy from the "Puppetmaster" episode was also in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"... I saw that movie, and I don't remember him being in it...

and Liz Vassey, who played Courtney in "Hey 19" was in this episode of "Dharma & Greg" that I've seen a million times. lol I didn't even realize that was her.
OH! She was in an episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation"! haha! That's wicked cool!!

lol yes, I am very bored. that is why I am doing this. lol

and speaking of "Dharma & Greg", Does anyone else watch that show?? Well, just the reruns are on now, but did/do you guys watch it? I watched it during its first run, pretty regularly, until the show started getting all depressing and Dharma and Greg were having marital problems. lol.
But the first few seasons of that show are great! I love it! It makes me laugh so hard.
I mean, it's not as good as Wings, but it's one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.

The guy from Puppetmaster was also in a movie with Steven Weber. Liz was in "The Tick" that show that was on the air for about 6 episodes about a year or so ago....TVAdam knows what show I'm talking about.

Wow, before I read your post I was getting ready to say "The Tick". Thanks for mentioning me. And just for the record, The Tick had nine episodes (although only 8 aired). It aired back in 2001 and I own all episodes on DVD.

I only watched The Tick because I liked Patrick Warburton in his five episodes in "NewsRadio". I'm probably one of the few people who recognize him from "NewsRadio" over "Seinfeld".

Ooh, Liz Vassey was also a co-star in the sitcom "Brotherly Love". That show starred the three Lawrence brothers, Joey, Matthew and Andrew. It lasted for like two or three seasons in the late 90's.

She was the reason I watched that show. I'm surprised she never went on to become a big movie star.

I do the same thing. The guy whom Helen was supposed to audition for, I think it was the Lifeboat Episode, the really stuck up guy whom Helen had to replace his suit, the actor was recently on the soap "All My Children". He's really a great actor

really? my Mom watches "All My Children" every day (Liz Vassey was also on that show years ago), I'm not sure which guy you're talking about though. hmmm...

oh! and I was just watching that show "Two Of a Kind" (don't ask!), and the woman who played Shannon in that season 8 episode of Wings, where they had to hire someone to replace Fay while she was on her vacation, was on that show.

I've seen a couple of people who've appeared on Wings also appear on ER. Laura Innes, who played Bunny Mather, is a series regular on ER. The guy who plays Roy's son plays Jerry the desk clerk on ER. There are a couple of others.

The guy who played Bob, the air-traffic controller who takes Antonio hostage, is on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. USA network now airs it a hundred times a week, just like they used to do with Wings.

ok yeah! I forgot about Laura Innes on ER.
and the guy who played R.J. ...he was in a few other things. I recognized him in his first Wings episode, but I couldn't remember what from.... it wasn't ER though (I did notice him on ER, but it was after I had seen him on Wings).. hmmm.. maybe I should look him up too. lol!

Oh, he was in "Twister"!
and hmm.. he wasn't in anything else that I've really seen.. hmm.. weird. I guess I just recognized him from "Twister"! I saw that a bunch of times when it first came out. I used to think that movie was cool...

It's okay, I watch "Two of a Kind" too from time to time. I'm not a big Olsen fan, but the dad on that show was funny. It's odd that you mention it, because I watched an episode for the first time in quite a while. (I'm on a week vacation from work so I can stay home all week and just watch TV )

Whenever I see a Wings episode that she's on, it's hard to imagine she plays Dr. Weaver now I can't stand that Dr. Weaver character.
