I don't really know. I thought the 3rd movie was great, the 2nd was ok- some really funny bits, and the first was good too. I think the franchise will just run on, even when Anna Faris stops playing Cindy. It'll be almost like the National Lampoon films (Van Wilder etc)- it could just run on. I think they should let Scary Movie just run on. Even though it'll have the market cornered on movie spoofs (alot of people I know loved 'Shriek' which was released around the same time as the first scary movie)- there'll still be room for genre spoofs like Mel Brooks (I love his films!).

Scary Movie films have a lot of funny moments, and it's basically like a movie version of SNL or any sketch show, and sketch shows always become institutions, staple (sp?) shows for the people to watch- kind of like The Queen's Speech is something you expect every Christmas. So, Scary Movie is good natured, movie spoofing fun- and everytime you see a movie now you think how will Scary Movie spoof it (well, after you see the film you think that)- so, let the spoofs continue!

The first and secound were stupid but the third wasnt as bad. The third was better because they weren't a bunch of teenagers running around screwing each other.

I loved the first, didn't see the second, and LOVE LOVED the third.

It also could have been that it was 9:30 on a Sunday night and I was all hyped up cos I was with my friends and I had just made a joke about Greg's mom... that may have been why I laughed so hard.

I saw Scary Movie & Scary Movie 2 this morning. Both of them were good but the first one was better than the 2nd one. When does the third one come on video?
