This is creepy. I saw it at IMDB.com. I'm glad it didn't happenen. I'm not much of a fan of him, but I'd be freaked if it happened to anyone:

Tom Cruise Nearly Lost His Head On Set:

Tom Cruise was about half an inch away from being decapitated on the set of epic The Last Samurai, when actor Hiroyuki Sanada nearly chopped his head off with a sword. Japanese Sanada, who plays a samurai in the movie, was swinging a real sword when Cruise's mechanical horse malfunctioned and didn't fall down as planned. And the faulty equipment nearly cost the movie hunk his head. Sanada says, "Tom's neck was right in front of me, and I tried to stop swinging my sword but it was hard to control with one hand. The film crew watching from the side all screamed because they thought Tom's head would fly off.

I read about that in the papers. He is so lucky. It's not his turn to leave this earth yet.

He better count his lucky stars..... Doing movies can be a little dangerous huh?

Yeah, Imdb has reported this a few times now, but that's the first time I read what the swordsman had to say. It's sends a shiver down your spine, and reminds you of what happened to Brandon lee.

Brandon Lee wasn't beheaded was he? I know he died on the set of a movie ("The Crow", I think) but what happened exactly?
