Well, I found this at TV Tome, but I'm not sure how reliable it is:

Good Morning Miami has not been cancelled. Due to a recent lawsuit made by the producers of the show regarding "Will & Grace", NBC replied to the lawsuit by saying they would unfairly advertise and schedule Good Morning Miami. It will be absent from the schedule many times this season, but it is still active. The show had a sucessful move back to Thursday nights, and ratings have improved in the few times we've actually seen it since the time slot change.

Lol, but not true because it's never on for me to watch. I asked Pavanbadal the status of this phantom show, and here's the scoop.

"Good Morning Miami will probably be not seen until March, since for February NBC likes to double up on Friends and Will & Grace, and now that The Apprentice is a hit, that could air on Thursdays as well in February."

I read that the other day too.
This could set a really interesting precedent.

Will more TV producers star suing because the network failed to make thier show a ratings hit?
Can a producer sue because the network decided to move thier show to another night?

To be honest, I'd prefer it this way than chasing the show all over the place.

It's a shame though. I think the show just needed time. There was a lot of talent on the show.

the lawsuit had nothing,directly that is, to do with GMM. Just that the creators of GMM happen to be the creators of W&G and THEY had beef with NBC in regards to W&G. And obv it had to do with money.

I am the editor of GMM @ TV Tome, so just to let you know that I keep track of these things well, so I only post things that I think are reliable. Just to let you know.

Good Morning Miami has a 75% chance of getting canceled I say, but NBC has done some unusual things to some of its shows.
a) The second season renewal of GMM, for one thing
b) American Dreams has early been renewed for a 3rd season, despite a rollback from 22 to 18 episode this year. GMM (at the time) will only produce 18 episodes this season, unless word from NBC comes to finish off the final 6 shows.
c) Ed usually ends it seasons early but still keeps coming back.
d) Just Shoot Me eventually burned off most of its episodes, so if we get canceled, we should get one too (Boomtown, canceled 2nd season this year, got one).

There's still hope, at least for a summer run. Drew Carey Show has been unsuccessful lately, but still filming the entire season, which ABC will air during the summer, like Whose Line.

Zucker himself has said he'll see how the first 13 episodes go, but we've only gotten through 9. We'll just have to wait a few weeks to find out what happens. Probably at the end of February sweeps we'll hear something. Hopefully sooner. I've emailed Prez Zucker as well as GMM's press supervisor, Jamie French, but have yet to hear a response.

Well, it's good to know that we'll at least get a few new eps of GMM before it's gone for good...anyone know exactly when production ended?

Shame though, this was a great show...
