Andy Reed is overrated - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Rush Limbough is right, there is someone on the Eagles who is overrated. It is not the quaterback, it is the coach. For the love of god, Andy Reid is so overrated.

He is not as good as Bill Parcells, Bill Bilicick, or Dick Vermil. He is lucky to have McNabb, if he is so great win without McNabb (I am not counting late last season). He is the Phil Jackson of the NFL.

I don't think he is overrated because he has taken the team to three champhionship NFC games and it is the whole team that has done the things and not just like McNabb and don't think that McNabb is only a one-man show!! The most overrated is Parcells!!

If it wasn't for McNabb the Eagles wouldn't be any good. Andy Reed is like a Mike Martz. He always makes a blunder in a playoff game that will cost them the game. As for Parcells, he took a Cowboy team that has just about the same players as last years 5-11 team and won 10 games with them. Before Andy Reed can be put on the same platform as Parcells, he has to win a Superbowl.

How the heck is Bill Parcells overrated?!? He went to 3 SuperBowls and won two of them. And like mr. roper said, he took a team with little talent and got them 10 wins!

Stick to bumping up your post totals, you do a better job at that than talking sports..

I say this because when Joe Gibbs returned, my radio station in New York said what a great coaching division the NFC East is going to be now that has Gibbs, Parcell, and Reid. Reid is not on the same level as Parcell and Gibbs.

And also because Chris Collensworth won't shut up about what a great coach Andy Reid is.

I don't hate Andy Reid, and I think he is a good head coach, but not a great head coach.

I dont hear many people calling Andy Reid great, so I wouldnt say he is overated. If he loses to the Panthers, it should be held against him.
