Cool Post fav 80's things

The 80's was such a cool time. I recently bought a various artist 80's cd. I thought it would be fun to post your favorite movies, tv shows, and music of the 80's.
Heres mine,
Movies:
1.)Risky Business (Remember the porsche Tom drives, that was a badass car!)
2.)Zapped! (Heather Thomas was hot! Felice Schacter was cute, they should of kept her in FOL)
3.) Fast Times at Richmond High
4.) St. Elmo's Fire (the soundtrack is cool too!)
5.)Class (early 80's flick w/Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthey)

T.V.
1.)DS of course BABY!!
2.)Family Ties
3.)Tie between FOL and Charles in Charge

Music/song/band:
1.) in 81 the song I remember being played all the time on the radio is Christoper Cross's Arthur's Theme (the best that you can do). Remember that! I love that song! Always brings back memories!
2.) tie (the Police and Journey)
3.) I remember listening to Hall and Oats (kind of embarssed posting that)

Wink

That's cool FOL & DS fan 4ever. I was afraid some people might of thought that this was a lame topic and no one was going to post anything. But yup, me too, I could of gone on and on and on. Another one of my favorite movie I forgot to put up is Terms of Endearment. That one brought a tear in my eye. If you guys haven't seen it, I recommend it.

Thumbs up

Hey Curtis....this topic is far from lame at some of the other message boards out there. There's a certain website I go to about health and beauty that has over 5,000 members- mostly women of course. The 80's have been a BIG topic over there.

To anyone out there who grew up in the 80's- do you remember saying your mama to someone when you were pissed at them? LOL

Amazing....I haven't heard it in years. Back in the 80's, a cousin of mine had a hilarious comeback to someone when he said "your dada"....it was too funny!
