I am enjoying right now the Carol Burnett marathon on TVLand. What a fantastic show.

She sure kissed the men alot......

I could see myself in a show like that playing different roles. That would be so neat.

What are everyone's favorite regular sketches? My three faves are "Carol and Sis," "As the Stomach Turns," and "The Family." As a matter of fact, "Carol and Sis" is on right now!

I have caught a few bits and pieces of the marathon this morning.

I love any sketch where Tim Conway gets Harvey Korman to crack up.

I haven't seen that show in reruns in years. I love to see that show. I love "Carol Burnett & Friends". I also have the movie "Annie" with Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan. That's probably my all time favorite movie.

I saw the Gone with the wind episode last night. It was hilarious as usual. Harvey Korman as Rat Butler was so funny.

I saw the Gone With the Wind spoof Went With the Wind and it was extremely funny. Guest star Dinah Shore was also in that sketch and the costumes were well-crafted. It's a classic!

I just wish there were more of Carol's opening remarks. If they are doing all this promotion with "The questions Carol never answered," then they should be doing the originals during the show.

A couple things...

Was this originally a 1-hour show?

And why did Lyle Waggoner leave the show?

When the show originally aired, it was a full hour and featured lavish production numbers with the Ernest Flatt Dancers, and songs by musical guests.

"Carol Burnett and Friends" is an edited down version, featuring just the sketches.

I really don't know why Lyle left.

Hi There,Which Of Those Episodes Of The Carol Burnett Show Had A Part That Showed Carol Seat Herself On A Beach Chair,Only For That Part Of The Beach Chair & Her Butt To Nearly Drop To The Ground,Perhaps,Because Something Was Wrong With It?
