It was "every member of the Spellman's is born with a twin" and Sabrina's twin was Katrina (also played by Melissa Joan Hart) who turned out to be the evil one. Katrina appeared in The Good The Bad and the Lual (season three), You Can't Twin (season five) and Deliver Us From Email (season six). She was a cool character.

As much as I do love this series, I did have an issue with the Evil Twin episode - I guess because I am a huge proponent of free will, and everyone having the ability to choose good from evil. I thought the idea of Sabrina having a twin was neat - but I didn't like that one of them had to be evil.

wow, talk about reading way to much into an episode of "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch"

Well, as a fanfic writer and someone with a vivid imagination, I do tend to analyze shows and movies that I like. I'm aware that many would just say, 'Come on! It's just a fictional show!' - but, for me, I guess I do tend to look deeply into shows. It's just a way I am. I don't like the idea of someone being born evil. That just doesn't sit right with me.

They're not like us, though. They're immortal witches from The Other Realm. So we don't exactly know how they work, which is fine with me.

Well, I suppose it is possible that Katrina maybe comes from some universe where everyone is the opposite of those in Sabrina's universe - sort of like a Bizarro-world. I do tend to wonder if Amanda has a twin, too - and, if so, whether Amanda would be the evil twin.

The whole plotline sucked anyway. I don't know why they felt the need to have a season long arc each season.
