It's possible:
ABC and Sony Pictures Television are developing a new take on "Charlie's Angels." ABC, execs confirmed they're developing a new take on "Charlie's Angels" with Sony Pictures Television, expected to be an action series modeled after Sony's successful feature adaptation of the franchise. Carlton Cuse ("Black Sash," "Nash Bridges") and John Wirth ("The District") are writing the script and will exec produce; Alphabet's attached a hefty penalty to the script. |

Ugh...if it is modeled after the movies, I'm not looking forward to it at all. It seems as if ever since 2000, the official CA are Alex, Dylan, and Natalie. THEY ARE NOT CHARLIE'S ANGELS!!! They are WANNABES!!! Here that, ABC and Sony!??! Give us our ORIGINAL characters and not the dumb movie characters! Sabrina, Jill and Kelly! Hell, I'd prefer Sabrina KRIS and Kelly even more! I'd enjoy Kelly, Kris and Julie more than the movie Angels! This is why I have been anti-CA movie ever since it came out! The way I see it, they should cast actresses to play Sabrina Duncan, Jill Munroe, and Kelly Garrett, and have them retell the story in the pilot movie, then they can start creating their own original stories for the series. It'd be a mighty lot better than what they are cooking up...

But on the other hand, if they do this as an update with new characters, rather than a remake with new actresses playing the original characters, then it will leave the door open for guest appearances by the original cast (as their original characters).
