hi, i am a huuuge nanny fan! and i also can be categorized as a huuge feminist. i began to notice that fran is the exact opposite of everything that feminism stands for...
such as how she spends her WHOLE life looking for a man and she doesnt feel complete with out a man and so on and so on.. and even though it is crucial to her character i find myself a little bit bothered by it basically because i think she is sooo funny and doesnt need a man to be complete and basically cos the show is just so great. maybe this is just my feminist beliefs coming through, but i was just wondering what others thought about this topic.. thanks! |
