Default Mimi's World

Mimi Bobeck was fired from Winfred Louder. (Mimi never married Steve and never gave birth to Gus) Mimi now works as guidance counselor at a local high school. Her secretary, Susan Daniels (Sara Rue), is her new best friend and favorite co-worker. Susan Daniels is engaged to married her fiancee, David Richardson (David Faustino). David and Susan live together in an apartment building, which is the same apartment building that Mimi lives in. Mimi and Susan work in the guidance office at the high school. David works at Denny's part-time, as he is going to law school. Mimi's reoccuring students are Brian Williamson (Frankie Muniz), Ashley Cooper (Kaley Cuoco), Monique Larken (Raven Symone), and Trisha Mason (lindsay Lohan). Brian is a senior who is in need of guidance of which college to attend, after being accepted by Harvard, UCLA, Stanford, and other good colleges. Ashley is a senior who is frequently worrying about her looks, her backstabbing friends, her cheating boyfriends, her popularity statis. Monique is a laid-back senior is an office assistant. Trisha is a rebellish senior, who is always in guidance, because of her attitude.

Default Season One Episodes mimi's world

Mimi's world
Season 1 eps

Ep1: The Beginning:
Mimi celebrates her one year of working at the school with Susan and her fiancee David. Principal Walters (Phylicia Rashad) offers Mimi and Susan a raise in pay.

Ep2: Teenage Stress:
Mimi is forced to deal with Trisha and her horrible attitude for the third time this week. Mimi and Trisha talk one on one until Mimi gets to the real reason why she is such a rebel is that her parents are divorced: Her dad is in jail for auto-theft. her mom died two years ago, and trisha lives with her stepdad, who is an abusive drunk who beats Trisha.

Ep3: Mothers and Sons:
David's mother, Harriet (Christine Baranski), visits and demands David and her to spend a lot of time together. Susan feels left-out and after talking to Mimi, decides to confront Harriet. Truth gets out that David never told Harriet that he's engaged.

Ep4: Getting the Boot:
Susan, feeling upset, kicks David out. Brian shows up and is freaking out over colleges. Mimi tries to help Brian at the same time as she tries to help out Susan and David. Susan lets Monique be an office assistant.

Ep5: Choosing and Losing:
Brian still is panicking b/c he fears of not choosing a college in time, and Monique's paternal grandmother dies. Monique breaks down and turns to Mimi desperately. Monique asks Mimi and Susan to attend the funeral. Susan then realizes she has to get back together with David.

Ep6: Crying for the sake of Crying:
Mimi is put under tons of stress and the only way she can relieve stress is to cry. Susan and Monique overhears Mimi crying and promises to help her out around the day. Mimi claims she doesn't need the help but in reality she does. David and Susan make up and David moves back in with her.

Ep7: Fighting:
Mimi is stuck with Trisha and her attitude problems again. Mimi learns the why Trisha was sent into her office is because of a fight in the lunch room and Trisha is going to to court. trisha breaks down crying and needs Mimi now more than ever.

Ep8: Beauty :
Ashley worries about her popularity statis dropping, her friends backstabbing her and her boyfriend cheating on her. Monique helps Ashley out, while Susan and Mimi attend a meeting.

Ep9: Guidance Cupid:
Monique sets Brian and Ashley up on a date. Things go very well on the date. David and Susan argue over a modern or traditional wedding.

Ep10: Court:
Mimi goes to court with Trisha. Trisha gets off with paying a couple fines. Yet while everyone is there, Mimi tells the judge about her stepdad because an abusive drunk. Trisha shows the judge and jury her bruises. Her stepdad is found guilty and put in jail. Leaving, trisha "parentless" and homeless. Mimi lets Trisha lives with her.

Ep11: Smart Fees:
After talking with Ashley, Brian decides on going to Stanford. Mimi confesses to Susan, that Trisha is the daughter she never had and always wanted. Trisha's attitude problems decrease and she becomes more respectful.

Ep12: Breaking it off for good: part one
Ashley decides to break it off with her old cheating boyfriend (not brian) and old backstabbing friends. Ahley throws a party and invites Brian, herself, Monique, and Trisha. The four have a great time. Mimi comes across some work from Winfred Louder wanting her to come back.

Ep13: Breaking it off for good: Part 2
Mimi denies the offer, but gets the nerve to call an old rival, Drew Carey, to keep up on old times. Drew and Mimi are more mature than in the past and argee to meet at a restaurant to catch up. the two apologized to each other. the "date" was perfect in Mimi's eyes. The "date" ended with a nice hug and peck on the cheek.

Ep14: Dating Drew:
Drew and Mimi decide to start dating steadily. They throw a party at Drew's place, inviting themselves, old friends: Lewis, Oswald, and kate, and new friends: Susan and David. Monique and Trisha attend the dance at the high school that Ashley and Brian are attending too.

Ep15: The Wedding Finale: The Season Finale
David and Susan get married. Mimi being the maid of honor. Drew, Kate, Oswald, Lewis, Monique, Trisha, Brian, Ashley, Principal Walker, other faculity members, other friends, and other family members.

And it seems too serious for a spinoff of Drew Carey.
