Default A Positive Sign From NICK

I've noticed something about NICK's episode scheduling of "Wings" since the expansion to a one-hour block.....

NICK has been juggling the order of some episodes around, and it seems that they're doing this so two-part stories have both parts shown back-to-back on the same night.

For example, tonight's "Return To Nantucket" story will be shown with both parts back-to-back...but NICK took the NEXT episode and showed it LAST night so things would "even out", allowing for the two-parter to be shown together on the same night.

It's not a big deal, but I'm taking this as a positive sign....It shows that NICK is paying SOME attention and thought to the "Wings" story lines, and they're not just randomly throwing any old episode on....They're trying to give us a complete "two-part" story in a single block.
This also shows that they're paying some attention to the "Wings" series as a whole, which is more than I can say for some of their other series.

While I'm not expecting NICK to move "Wings" to 10 or 11 PM any time soon (I'm not THAT much of a dreamer!), I DO think that they may be reconsidering the popularity and importance of "Wings" as a member of the NICK AT NITE lineup....Let's hope that they are!

It's also nice to see Lowell back.
What was up with that blue hat he was wearing? Did he loose his orange one?

Ange, remember that these are very early episodes, and some of the characters didn't have their "look" down yet....

In these early episodes, Helen really looks like a dishevled "hash-slinger" (complete with uncombed, bunched-up hair in some episodes), Fay sports a curly "little girl" hairdo and Brian appears unshaven and rather sloppy. (Even though Brian would still wear wild-colored clothes in later episodes, at least he didn't have that unkept "Oscar Madison" look about him).

Don't worry...Lowell's orange cap will be here before you know it!

I still think it's kind of funny though. It's as if he went into Microsoft Paint, selected his hat with a lasso and picked 'negative image'

In "The Monkees", Mike Nesmith wore I believe four different hats. A dark green, a green, a blue, and a green with white buttons. So whenever I watch this episode with Lowell and his blue cap, I always think of Mike and his blue hat.

I agree that it's great to see Lowell again.

It's cool to see Thomas Haden Church not as Ned Dorsey. I've been watching 'Ned and Stacey' way too much lately and it was time for a change.

Would you believe that I can imitate Early Lowell, his tone and personality?
I was mocking one of his lines this morning and I thought... hey! I sound like him, a little!
