Guest appearances of LL & DD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Speaking of TV appearances. Did anyone see Lauren Lane's appearance on "Perry Mason: The Case of the Skin-Deep Scandal" in 1993? I think it was aired on an US TV channel lately. I have seen this movie one or two times and she was great. Her character was tough for sure. And she was also the beauty of the movie. (There's always a beautiful young woman in each movie that works with the second investigator Ken Malansky. This time it was Lauren.) It was also fun that her character *named* Lauren.

Anybody seen this movie? Any opinions on it? Or has anyone seen other TV appearances of Lauren Lane?

I was also able to watch Daniel Davis guest appearance on MacGyver. He played the bad guy! I was astonished to see that! He was great! Unfortunately I didn't tape it.

Maybe they show it again one day. Anyone seen one of his TV appearances?

no i havent seen either of those appearances but i sure wish i did! DD and LL are the main reason i watch the nanny hehehe..

how did you find out that they were going to be on!? you should post ahead of time to get the word out. that would be awesome!

no, I can't post ahead if there will be a guest appearance of Lauren or Daniel on US TV. I'm from Europe so I learn last what they air in the US. I knew about Lauren's appearance in the Perry Mason movie because I watch Perry Mason, too.

Concerning the MacGyver episode... It was just a coincidence I found out Daniel would be in! That's why it's not taped.

I also watched this show dubbed.

What you can do to find out if they will show a movie or TV series where Daniel Davis was in you might check out his Current Month Schedule at tv-now.com. I think they would list a series here if his part was big enough:

Unfortunately they don't have a schedule for Lauren. But you can check out about LL's & DD's guest appearances at ImDb. I think their filmographies are pretty good. Then it should be easy to find their shows.

oh i see! well thank you very much for the post and the info on how to possibly find them on guest shows..
i havent seen ANY of them in anything else except for the nanny, so i will definately check those out because i want to see them playing other roles sooo bad!

You are very welcome. I'm happy I was able to help a little. I'd love to see LL or DD in other roles too but they don't show the series here right now in that they guest starred.

Well, I guess I've to wait. Nevertheless I was amazed that I must have seen DD appearances in some series. I remember I've watched the Columbo and Matlock episodes DD was in for example... but the problems is that I don't remember him.

I wasn't yet watching the Nanny at the time so I haven't noticed him.

Good luck in finding shows and keep us posted what you think!
