I have this case in my files of tapes somewhere, but I can not seem to find it. I will eventually though. It was about a man who disapeared, they found his car on a dirt road with a bible there and his name on it. He underwent alot of stress after his divorce. Right before he dissapeared he flipped out at work and was going to take a couple days off. I remember this one because it was one of my favorite re-creations. Such a vintage episode. Any help would be appreciated. I would also be interested in trading tapes with anyone it would be great thank you.

I remember this case very well! His name was Dan Wilson. What was so fascinating was that he had been acting strange in the weeks above his diappearance and seemed overly tired. When they found his abandonded car (with his Bible in it) his mom drove to pick it up and her and his aunt noticed that their throats were scratchy when they drove it home. The mechanic told them he had a faulty muffler on his car and carbon monoxide was probably leaking in. He could have been slowly exposed to carbon monoxide for up to a year and it could have caused his behavior changes. There was an update that they found his remains not far from where his car was originally found and he had died from exposure. It would be interesting to know if they tested his body for carbon monoxide poisoning.
What kind of stories do you have, any of the super old ones? I might be interested in trading tapes if you have some of the old ones that Lifetime never, or rarely, show. |
