Carrying in Basketball...
Is it true that Stephon Marbury and Allen Iverson started carrying the ball as they dribbled sometimes in the late '90's, and the season after, refs started enforcing the rule more strictly? Because I'm worried; when I play streetball, I do tricks all the time and I think some of them may be considered carrying in official ball. Would I just need to test the refs for the first couple of games and see what they would call?

What kind of official ball? I'm thinking they will call you. The NBA's officiating is so lax.
