Angry severe anxiety

Does anyone else have severe anxiety? It's terrible,it makes me feel unable to relax and I worry about everything. It's pure hell.I've run the gamut of medications and they just don't work that well.

Oh boy, I feel for you. Since you've done the medication route, I'm assuming you've seen a therapist. Don't give up. It's a matter of finding the right medication or combination of medications. You probably have a chemical imbalance that needs to be corrected.

Nobody should have to feel the way you do. Stress isn't good for you. It will lead to physical problems.

Try another doctor. They're like car mechanics, actors, chefs, etc.....some are better than others, and some are useless.

You have to be proactive when it comes to your mental health, just as you would your physical health. Take charge, and doctors aren't God either, so don't be afraid to tell them what you need. They're working for YOU.

Talk to your family and trusted friends and emphasize to them the magnitude of your problem. People that love you will want to help you to overcome this hell you're in.

I feel so bad. I wish there was more that I could say.

Have you had your thyroid or hormones checked out? I have a low thyroid and problems with my hormones and sometimes that can cause anxiety problems. And I've heard hypnotherapy works well on anxiety. I still have some anxiety, but nothing severe. I wish you the best.

Sure does. I have horrible anxiety. I get so worried and stressed out about things I feel like I'm just going to explode. It's horrible.

I've started seeing a new Dr. and she has modified my med dosage, some and maybe it can still work (hopefully).

I know it's definately a chemical imbalance,this has been going on,since I was born,it seems.

Thanks,Janice.

I worry about and get stressed over things I shouldn't even care about, but I can't fight the feelings.I don't see how hell could be much worse, really. And I'm sorry that you have a rough time with it,also.

Yeah, I know what it's like trying to fight the feelings and loosing. All I can say is I've been in your shoes and it will get better. It took 3 different doctor's and LOADS of different meds before they finally found something that worked for me.

Not only would I stress over things but I would blow up over really stupid things. Luckily I have some really great friends & family who are standing beside me while all this is going on.

My advice to you is to lean on your family and friends. I know I wouldn't be able to get through this with out them and my shrinks.

I am goint through that right now. The doctor told me I should take medication... but I don't want to. So I'm not going to.

I hope you start feeling better, Cindy

I get anxiety a lot.. especially in social situations. This is nothing that's been diagnosed though. I don't know if it's anxiety or paranoia, but it takes me hours to get to sleep at night for fear of someone breaking into my house and killing me.. every little sound just scares the crap out of me.

I get worried and stressed over things too, I know what you're going through, It sucks big time. I'm not on meds I try to fight it on my own, but it's tough sometimes. Don't give up things will get better, and keep seeing a therapist that will help. Good Luck!!
