What did you think of this episode? I thought it was good.

The whole thing about having to share a nickle was brilliant. But is it just me, or has Frank mellowed slightly this season?

I was so surprised to see how Ali has grown. She hasnt been on much for past year, and has really grown up. I didnt know what to think of the little battle between Debra and Marie. Neither was right.

Ditto. I was surprised too. She's only 12, but she looks like she's about 13 or so. Her birthday is: June 27, 1991.

I thought it was an okay episode, but not as good as the others this season. When Debra ran into Ray at the store, that was believable, but when they ran into Frank and Marie, it seemed contrived.
I know, I know, it's only a show, but this was the sort of thing that Seinfeld did but that was okay because it was a different kind of show.
Putting Ally to work in the slave camp unnerved me a little. The guys putting in orders for pancakes and grilled cheese, the laundry two feet over her head, babysitting all the time....didn't like it.
I realize kids should do chores, but I didn't like Raymond and Debra's attitude about it--like wow, what a score! Ally may have liked it at first, but that doesn't change their behavior as parents. They should have known better.

I liked it when Ray was making out with Debra on the couch.....I wanna' try that.

I too thought it was ridiculous how quickly Ray and Debra took advantage of the situation. And those men, you would think they were the most helpless idiots in the world who cant make a pancake or a grilled cheese sandwich, depending on a child to do it for them.
