hi everyone , there is something that i don t understand : in all the critics i saw about full house , this sitcom seems to have had a great succes. However when i watch the general discussions on this site : there is a topic entitled "sitcoms you hate" are somethin like that , in which full house appears really often in the answers. So was it a succes or wasn t?In fact people seem to agree with the fact that full house was a good sitcom ONLY for young television viewers and not for olders. What s your opinion about this?

-Full House WAS successful indeed for all ages. For one season it was #7 for the season, which is amazing for a FAMILY show on ABC. "Step By Step" and "Family Matters" were usually in the 30s. -The critics however DID bash it, because it's obvious that some of the jokes are kind of lame, and I guess they didnt like that. -On the "Sitcoms You Hate" thread, it's normal for "Full House" to be mentioned a lot, because I think you either like or hate Full House. People think it's corny, and some people dont like the Olsen Twins... However, some people really like it. It clicks for some, it just sinks for others. |

Full House is the show that my son and I love to hate...but there's something about it that we can't stop watching it! Danny is so lame, Nicky and Alex are brats, and DJ overacts so badly!
It's also full of so many stupid mistakes that the writers should have caught...and I love drawing attention to them!

but i think that the charm of this sitcom is its naivety , it changed from all the violence that we see in the world and other tv programmes. In full house there was a pleasure to live that i liked.

DJ overacted so badly, but I guess the Full House crew was too dumb to realize it. A good director would have yelled "Cut!" and make her speak in a proper tone.
She would freak out and get dramatic about little things and her voice would get so squeaky! |

If you mean reality shows, yes, we have lots of them.
I love 'em. |
