Thumbs up Hoosiers

I must say this is one of the best sports films I have ever seen. Gene Hackman was awesome in this movie as the basketball coach. I mean this movie was so good I was actually cheering for the Huskers. It got me that into it. I highly recommend this film. I'd give it 3 out of 4 stars.

One of the best and most inspirational movies I've ever seen. It held my attention like no other had in a long time the first time I saw it.. never lets ya down no matter how many times you happen to see it.

Great line from the movie:

Coach Norman Dale: If you put your effort and concentration into playing to your potential, to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game, in my book we're gonna be winners.

A great film, and a great score by Jerry Goldsmith - my favorite composer. Also, if you are looking for another great sports film check out Rudy. Goldsmith also did the music for that movie. Very inspirational movies.

I got this movie on tape & i've never watched it. I'm gonna check it out today. I think White Men Can't Jump is the best sports movie i've ever seen. That movie is hilarious. Wesley Snipes & Woody Harrelson had great chemistry. I also like Sunset Park, Any Given Sunday, Above The Rim.

Yeah, I liked Hoosiers. "Space Jam", "Like Mike", "Basketball", "Hoosiers" thay all rule.

(I THINK there was a movie called "Basketball"...)

I think you might be referring to "Baseketball."

I saw an ad on TV today that said Hoosiers is now going to be released on DVD. I think that might be a good movie to add to my family's collection.
