Is she having problems on other internet pages? I doubt it is a SO problem and it's probably a result of her father doing something to her computer.
system32 is a virus file, I would suggest she downloads a virus removal program. She also could try searching for the system32.exe file and deleting it and then reboot. |

I learned something a couple of weeks ago... NEVER mess with the computer files. We had a major meltdown the weekend after Christmas because of it. I took off a Christmas screensaver(because Christmas was over), then the next morning, Dec. 27, the computer never would start. It kept coming up with a Windows error(I mean WINDOWS would never start up), so we left on a trip that day, and we came back on Sunday, it turns out it was a bug in the XP system that was apparently aggravated by me changing the screensaver.
That was such an annoying mess.

Try running a Virus Scan, as it could be a virus, and Maybe Adaware or Spybot to find Spyware. Spybot and Adaware can get rid of alot of other Malware that may be on your PC.

depending on how the system files are corrupted/infected it may or may not work - just by that description its hard to say if it is a virus or spyware or just a corrupted system file |
